What’s going on at Borussia Dortmund? What is Edin Terzic’s current situation?

In recent months, BVB’s form in the league, unlike in the Champions League, has, to put it mildly, not satisfied both the club itself and its fans. Could this mean the dismissal of the current coach, Edin Terzic? As it turned out yesterday, they gave him the last chance to return everything to how it looked before, that means to get into battle for a Champions League spot. It is reported that the bosses blame players for how the team is doing in terms of sporting achievements. As I mentioned earlier, not only the fans are dissatisfied with the development of the situation, as Patrick Berger, one of the most famous German journalists, reports, the coach has almost completely lost his locker room, and according to several other sources, the rebellion is led by a living legend and long-time captain of this club, Marco Reus, which last match, probably due to different opinion from the coach’s, he spent on the bench throughout the last match in 2023, even though his team were looking for a way to score a goal that would give them victory. Ultimately, the match with Mainz, which is not doing very well this season, ended in a draw, although both sides had their opportunities to take the lead. The chance given to Terzic by BVB authorities can also unfortunately mean that, the players who stood up to the coach, will likely either leave the club in winter, or won’t have a lot of playtime during next matches. The most important thing for Borussia fans, apart from saying goodbye to the coach, is also the fact that the club’s authorities should not only focus on the coach, but also make reinforcements during the soon-to-start transfer window, because without them it may turn out that there will be no room for BVB to play in the Europe next season. For now, BVB, with a huge loss of 15 points to the leader, is in 5th place in the league with only 3 points ahead of the next three teams behind them. Will giving the coach next chance turns out to be a good move, we will probably see that soon. But as of now Dortmund supporters had to be patient and still no matter what happens, support their favorite team.
